There are few "nice" facilities that allow pets. It is very difficult to find a desirable resort in a safe location that allows pets or pets over a certian size. We welcome most pets,however, we do have rules and they are:

1. Pets are not allowed past the upper garage toward the inn, Grand Muskokan, beach and docks. We have 84 acres of property and reserve this 8 acre parcel for guests without pets and our own 2 dogs who you may run into.
2. Stooping and scooping are a must everywhere it happens.
3. Continuous and excessive noise is not tolerated.
4. We reserve the right to exclude any aggressive dogs from our resort at any time.
5. There is a limit of 2 pets per cottage.

6. Your pet is most welcome to swim off leash at your dock but you must maintain complete control and responsibility. At all other times, dogs must remain on leash out doors.
7. No pets may be on the furniture at any time. You will be charged an extra cleaning fee if we have to remove your pet's hairs or dirt from beds or sitting areas. We provide old sheets and towels to cover furniture, (if your dog jumps up in your absence) or to clean up after a dip in the lake.
8. If you are planning a day trip without the dog and he or she needs to be walked, please contact us. With sufficient lead time, we can usually fit it in.
